Stained Clothing

Stains on undergarments, clothing and bed linen can be tested for the presence of semen, spermatozoa and DNA.

A test to show the presence of semen on a garment is adequate in most inquiries.

If further proof or positive identification of an individual is required, DNA from the item can be tested.

If damp the article of stained clothing should be air-dried away from direct heating and placed in a plain paper bag or manila envelope for examination by John Horton and Associates.

The age of the stain is usually inconsequential.
